In the continuous war between Israel and Palestine, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) use a practice to make air strikes more efficient. Before bombing a civilian area, they call the inhabitants of the house, and inform them that their home is going to be bombed in less than 10 minutes. They call it Roof Knocking.
Roof Knocking (2017), explores the horrifying moments after such calls arrive.

The film has been honored with many awards and recognitions since it’s primier in Cairo International Film Festival, where it won the award for the best short film.

“Where do you call home?” Unsere Fremden (2021) follows the story of three characters whose fates are tied together, trying to find an answer to this question.

Each year thousands of immigrants and refugees come to Germany in hope of finding a better future. Their future is determined by stamps and pieces of paper.
Unsere Fremden is a musical short film (hopefully the first installment of a series) about those among us that we often fail to notice. The strangers in our community who occupy the news reports as number and statistics, but whose personal stories rarely occupy our minds.
This short film is the beginning of their story.
